We are excited to share that the Town of KL approved the Kirkland Lake Community Complex’s proposal to extend the ice into the month of April and that our coaching staff have committed to continue to volunteer their time to run practices and games to take advantage of this ice time 🙌
We are so grateful for our many volunteers (coaches, assistants and managers) who are working to help these kiddos get as much ice time as possible. With this extension, our season will now end on April 29th, 2021.
U9-U15: Practices will remain as is and each team will receive one game each weekend.
U7 (Kirkland Lake Legion 87 Timbits): Practices remain as is up to and including March 26th. As of March 29th, practices will move to Mondays and Wednesdays only until April 28th.
Important:
As the nice weather approaches please keep in mind that in order to plan for referees and players we ask that you give your team manager and coach at least a weeks notice if you know your player will absent for a game on the weekend. This gives us time to find replacement players for the team(s) that need them.
Final Invoice:
Because we know that things can change at any time we will be sending out the bill for the last payment at the end of the season which will need to be paid upon receipt.
💸💸💸If you wish to receive the volunteer credit you must fill out a volunteer tracking sheet and place it in the mailbox by the office or email to us at klmha@live.ca by April 29th.
